Episode 34 – Rhinebeck Redux

In this episode the savvy sisters are with Savvy Mom at the New York State Sheep and Wool Festival in Rhinebeck, NY.

Deborah takes a short row class from Lily Chin.

Deborah and Melanie meet Jess and Casey from Ravelry, and lots of current and (hopefully) future listeners.
They also get the pleasure of chatting with the very talented designers Ysolda Teague and Hannah Fettig.

Then, the Savvy Girls take on some listener-suggested dares and do their best to humiliate themselves in public.

Want to learn to Kitchener stitch? Deborah highly recommends this video – it gets Melanie’s seal of approval, too.

Congratulations, knitters. Together we are converting both Melanie and Savvy Mom to the way of the yarn. Keep up the good work.

Episode 33 – Crepes and Waffles

Not a lot of knitting in this episode, but join the girls as they hang out in Bogota, Colombia.

They do some shopping and sightseeing, but mostly they spend an inordinate amount of time at a particular restaurant.

Next week, the girls will be at Rhinebeck.  Last year was great, but we want to make this trip a bit more interesting.  Send in your creative ideas for challenges or dares that the girls should do while at the show (via comment or other means). The best ideas will win some great yarny prizes!
