It was great to hear Savvy Dad and Dr. Stitch tackling knitting. Is there any chance of a photo of their work?!

And the gerbil song? Thank you so much for making me laugh so hard my jaw ached! My gerbil used to make endless piles of paper doilies – we tried telling her that they were out of fashion – but she insisted that doilies were a mark of a good housekeeper.

Awh, sadly ‘Ruthie’ (short for Ruthless) is no longer around – but she would have enjoyed leading a rallying cry for doily-making gerbils around the world. I like to think she came back as a sparrow, or maybe another gerbil – to get more gnawing done!

This episode was hysterical. I soooooooooo wished it had been a videocast. I was imagining Savvy Dad and Dr. Stitch holding the needles and yarn and trying to knit!!!! Thanks for yet another great episode. Oh yes, the gerbil song was cute too.
