Episode 109 – Sparkly Contests
The Savvy Girls are back together in New York!
They start off by (finally) announcing the winners of the Show Your Commitment Contest and the KAL and CAL (from Episode 100.5).
Deborah talks about her participation in the Summers at Scarritt Bennett KAL and describes her latest iteration of the Textured Shawl Recipe. She reviews KnittyAndColor‘s hand-painted fiber, Flannelberry Creek‘s Tunis yarn, and Madelinetosh’s Tosh Sport yarn. She also talks about the fun she’s been having with Craftsy courses, and the creative solution she found for covering up her Expedit shelves.
Melanie’s got some upcoming performances: She’ll be in Wakefield, Quebec on October 5th, and at the Metropolitan Room in NYC on November 20th.
